    The perimeter window on the site I am designing dances around to the right and back to it's original position depending on how long the content is within the window on each distintc page --- check it out and see if you know why it's wacky...

    Hi,
    If you are talking about in Firefox, I get this problem too
    It's because of the scrollbar appearing and disappearing. Just add this code into your CSS file or into the <style></style> portion of your html files.
    Code:
    html { overflow: -moz-scrollbars-vertical !important; }

    I know you posted this a while back, but I just got around to updated my project and this works great. You're a CSS wiz. Good luck with your aspiration of one day working for Google.
