    Hey guys, this is a weird issue, I have set a div tag inside another div tag.

    The link (a href=) only works in Firefox but doesnt become a link in IE. I tried using a simple CSS tag but it wasnt able to do what I wanted it to do. How can I get the link function to work in IE?? What does IE not like here?

    my html looks like this:
    Code:
    <div id="h1eadm2">LAS VEGAS SPECIALS<div id="h1eadm2nav"><a href="?PageName=Index&Action=Display">Las Vegas and Nevada Specials</a></div></div>
    my css:
    Code:
    #h1eadm2 {
    		width: 723px;
    		border: 1px solid #EFEDE7;
    		background-color: #FFFFFF;
    		background-image:url([$GlobalImageRURL]background.png);
          	        background-repeat: repeat-x;
    		font-size: 13px;
    		color: #733522;
    		text-transform: uppercase;
    		font-weight: bold;
    		margin: 10px 0px 5px 0px;
    		padding: 10px;
    		}

    #h1eadm2nav {
    		font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    		font-size: 11px;
    		color: #000066;
    		text-decoration: underline;
    		text-transform: none;
    		text-align: right;
    		margin-top: -15px;
    		}

    First thing I'd recommend trying is turning the & into an &amp;. However, I get the feeling IE doesn't like the fact that your link starts with a `?'. Could you by any chance prepend the name of your current page to that? It might help.

    i dont think these are the issues, because the other links with this same thing (? and &) works in IE just fine.

    So, is the problem that the link itself doesn't work (i.e., you can't click it) or that the link does work but it's not styled as a link?

    solved the problem by just doing it in 'p class' -- still cannot understand why it doesnt work with 'div id' but oh well. thanks for your help!

    I'm curious as to what you were trying to do, though. What wasn't working?

    If you're looking to just style the hyperlink, you shuold be using

    Code:
    #h1eadm2nav a {
    		font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    		font-size: 11px;
    		color: #000066;
    		text-decoration: underline;
    		text-transform: none;
    		text-align: right;
    		margin-top: -15px;
    		}
