    Hi, I have a web page with a small problem. Underneath the menu button in IE there is a tiny little piece of white space. Actually there are two but one of them is intentional. I can't seem to figure out how to get rid of it.
    Any help would be appreciated. You can see the page here - http://www.deadhippo.com/delete/index3.htm
    You can see more details here - http://www.deadhippo.com/delete/delete.gif

    Thanks

    You may have to kill the margins for the ul with a:
    Code:
    ul
    {
        margin: 0;
    }
    Also, you should know that in Firefox you get extra whitespace at the top of your content.

    You're not going to believe this, but the old IE "white space" - "carriage return"
    bug got ya! Was it DCScene or Shadowfiend that was ticked-off about that?

    Try this:

    <div id="sidebar"><img src="menu.gif" width="130" height="33" /><ul>
    <li><a href="#">About</a></li>
    <li><a href="#">Contact</a></li>
    <li><a href="#">Templates</a></li>
    <li><a href="#">Forum</a></li>
    </ul>
    </div>

    Notice the blue line ....

    I simply moved the <ul> right behind the <img> tag with no carriage
    return or white space ... go figure!

    Hey guys thanks. That was it. It's hard to believe that something so pathetic works though. Oh well..it works and it is valid css and xhtml and thats exactly what I want.

    Thanks for the prompt replies.
