I am having a major issue with image floating in hotmail. I have an image floated right up against a td and a div for the content that wraps around the image. It works fine in all browsers and email clients except hotmail. In hotmail, there is a slight padding the pushes the image to the left so it is not directly up against the edge of the td.

Also, using a DOM inspector, I determined that the image itself has a "haslayout" property value of -1 which means the image isn't rending style properly.

I have tried a host of bug fixes listed on various sites.

Has anyone had a similar problem?

    Does anyone have a solution?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is going to sound really patronising, and I apologise for that, but have you tried setting the padding and margin of the image to 0?

Yes. I think it might be an unfixable problem without the boxmodel hack.
