    When i browse my site in any browser on the mac it looks fine but when i use a PC the font looks blurry and the actual size of the container looks bigger with respect to the screen.

    is this a common pc/mac problem and how can it be solved:

    You're right, it's a common problem between PC and Mac.

    It's all in the way Mac generates the video ...

    There's no way any PC can duplicate the video quality,
    that's why graphic designers and artists use Macs.

    Here's one of several aspects that affect visual appearance:

    There's been this "ongoing battle" between users of PCs and Macs ...
    Gamers of course realize that the newest PC's are indeed faster
    than the Macs, but graphics designers who aren't interested in the
    speed, realize that the quality of the Mac is tenfold.

    Which system to purchase all depends on your needs and expectations.

    Any serious website designer (and that's not me), would have both,
    along with several browsers installed. You'd be amazed at how different
    a website looks on different machines.
