    Ok, so heres the deal, I'm helping my clan leader optimize his code and make it easyer to update, but im having an issue on the main page where if you look at it in IE it looks fine, but on firefox, it adds extra space under each of the headers. I've tryed everything that I can think of, anything that you can think that would fix this issue would be great. Heres the url to see what im talking about http://skywarp.visfx.net/~gmr310/unclan/ the code is available by request, I will send it in PM.

    Well, the header image isn't even showing up in Firefox. Might want to switch to using CSS to set it up.

    Ok so I started to remake it without using tables and I've run into another couple of problems.

    http://skywarp.visfx.net/~gmr310/unclan/problem.php

    1. In both Firefox and IE, there an extra line of space inbetween the image and text that I would like to get rid of.

    2. In IE, it throws all the content below the menu, It looks and works fine in Firefox.

    Any ideas on either of those problems would be greatly helpful. Thanks!

    Which stylesheet has the proper information!!?

    You have the centercontent ID in two different stylesheet with different information.

    do no use position: static.

    Here's a 2 column layout fixed and centered

    Code:
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"
       "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" lang="EN-CA" xml:lang="EN-CA">

    <head>
    	<title>2 column layout - centered - fixed</title>

    	<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">
    	<style type="text/css">
    	* {
    		margin:0;
    		padding:0;
    	}

    	html {
    		background-color: #fff;
    		font-family: "Trebuchet MS", "Lucida Console", Verdana, Arial, sans-serif;
    		font-size: 12px;
    		color: #000;
    		text-align: center;
    	}

    	body {
    		margin: 0 auto;
    		width: 780px;
    		text-align: left;
    	}

    	#header {
    		/* header info here */
    	}

    	#sidebar {
    		float:left;
    		width: 250px;
    	}

    	#content {
    		float:right;
    		width: 530px;
    	}

    	</style>
    </head>

    <body>

    <div id="header">header stuff here</div>

    Ok, so I got the whole two column thing working... sorta... It now works great in IE, but dosnt work right in firefox. I have reason to beleave that if I was to make it a fixed width page I would have these problems, But I realy want a liquid site. I also havent figgured out the problem with the space inbetween the picture and the paragraph text.

    For who ever it was that asked, use the default.css as the most current up to date css file.

    So yeah, heres the most current link http://skywarp.visfx.net/~gmr310/unclan/index2.php

    Sorry ... I didn't realize you wanted a fluid layout For a fluid layout you need to use position: relative on the #centercontent id

    so ... replace
    Code:
    .centercontent {
    	float:right;
    	width: autos;
    }
    with
    Code:
    .centercontent {
      position:relative;
      margin-left:180px;
    }
    your #leftmenu has a width of 170px so ... with a margin-left of 180px kinda adds a 10px padding between both

    All elements have padding or margins (and other properties) set by default.

    So ... in this case, you'll want to set margin-top: 0 to the P here

    Code:
    <div class="centercontent"><h3>The Few, The Retaliating, We Are [unclan]:</h3><div class="clanimage"></div>
    <p style="margin-top: 0;">When all hope is lost, when &
