    CSS: CSS File

I'm using absolute positioning to position each of the boxes. Now I have the header box done and I also have the right box sorted out too.

But the problem is with the main left content box. Now what I want to happen is the box is wide enough so it stretches to just 1px away from the right box no matter what resolution the screen is set at.

I've tried setting the width at 100% but this doesn't work. I've tried setting it at a pixel width but this won't work either I'm not sure what else to try!

The content box needs to be so that when a line of text reaches the limit it'll spread on over to the next line rather than just continuing on across the page as it does now.

    I'm stuck!

    Regards,
    Chris

Why not use tables? Tables seem like they would do this trick easily. Cell spacing would keep your boxes from touching each other too.

Because tables just aren't cool anymore

I'm doing this layout based entirely on CSS.

I think you're putting in a lot of effort to get a little done . . . besides, doesn't absolute positioning lead to compatibility problems?
