    my new blog template looks fine in firefox, but in ie the rightmost navbar is stuck somewhere in the middle and i can't figure out how to make it look correct in ie. plus there seems to be some extra space on the right side.

    my code is messy as i am self taught but i can post it if needed. you can see my template at

    It looks very bad in Opera, too, which follows standards even more strictly than Firefox. I suggest downloading Opera, getting it working right in that, then in Firefox, and then finally IE. The idea is to comply as strictly with the standards as possible, and then compensate for each successively more crappy browser (Opera > Firefox > IE).

    But before you do that, fix the validation errors: . Some of them, it seems, could easily break your layout. Fixing validation errors frequently magically fixes other errors you get.

    doesnt work at all in my personal browser, needs a lot of work, also it comes up with a warning message about cookies?

    Definately a box model problem. I'm rather confused of the huge rightbar DIV. Check that out.
