    Hi, making this website - www.excel-contractors-direct.com . I'm using tables for the layout of the page because i want it to appear in the centre of the page. When i look at it in IE7 it appears how Dreamweaver shows it but in Firefox it is more spaced out. I want it to appear the same in both browsers - how do i do this?
    Thanks, Scott

    Hm, I don't know... But FYI, you can center with CSS. Just put it all in a div, and put for the style:
    [minicode]margin: 0 auto;[/minicode]
    I'm not sure why the spacing is inconsistent though.

    Scott ...

    I see one major problem...

    Your image "target.jpg" is 1988 X 972 pixels and (405K bytes) in size!
    Yet, you're resizing it to fit on your page.

    You need to resize it with your photo editor, not on your web page.

    That goes for all of your images.

    Try opening your website with a dial-up connection and see what I'm talking about.

    =====

    I'm not going to rant about using CSS ...
    and I'm not going to answer any questions about tables unless your content is tabular.
