    Hey im trying to learn html and css and just playing around abit and wondering how to get a table to start at the very top of the page. please help? and also is there any suggestions on good online tutorials for html/css?

    1) I really like htmldog.com. It teaches you html and CSS the right way
    2) Don't use tables for layouts. period.
    3) to reach the very top, put this in your CSS file

    And while you're new, don't use tables for layout. Whatever you do. There are a lot of discussions here about that, but in the modern web it's been accepted that table layouts are out of date.

    It isn't so easy to find good ones. There are several on ALA and there's a tutorial on HTML Dog. You might also do a search on this forum for topics around this. There are plenty.
