    The audio player I am displaying seems to be somehow over-riding my cell width settings. It wants to take as much of the table width as possible even to the point of forcing the other cells to wrap text after every word. See what I mean at- http://hearseelang.com/test2.html. Can someone please tell me how to fix this.

    Thanx, Alan

    HTML-

    <table width="50%" border="1" align="center">
    <tr><td width="10"><div align="center"><embed src="a.wav" width="100" height="20" pluginspage="http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/"></div></td>
    <td width="100"><div align="left">After the fall</td>
    <td width="100"></td></tr>

    Are you sure it isn't the [minicode]<td width="10">[/minicode] that's doing that? It might be worth it to get rid of that width and see what happens.

    Also, you shouldn't be using tables for layout; if you aren't, then you should still be specifying things like width in CSS, not in HTML.
