    Well, you posted on the wrong board (but the moderators can move it to the right forum), but other than that, I have no idea.

    RSS is an XML technology. Moved to HTML, XHTML, XML, and CSS.

    Foodbiz ...

    That's what is supposed to happen.

    An RSS Reader uses that XML to create it's feed.

    One thing that is different with yours though, with IE6.0,
    I got a file open dialog box. That isn't normal. It should just
    open the XML code directly, without any dialog boxes.

    Not sure how your XML file is generated. It must be some
    server-side thing you have on your webhost?

    ================

    You'll find more information here:
    http://www.google.com/search?q=rss+f...le&btnG=Search

    EDIT:
    Click on the orange RSS icon on this webpage (webdesignforums) at the top of this page.
    You'll see the same type of XML output as yours. I noticed yours has a different doctype ...
    that might be causing the opening dialog box.

    There are a couple of things. The doctype is one, another is to make sure you've got the proper link tag syntax, and the last is to make sure you're serving the RSS file up with the proper MIME type (application/rss+xml).

    I'm getting a file download dialogue box when I try looking at it too. You either haven't declared a MIME type, or have declared the wrong one.

    Follow Shadowfiend's instructions anyway.
