    For some reason, I can't get my footer to display on this page.

    Here is the css

    Code:
    .columnleft{
            margin-top:0;
            position:absolute;
            top: 130;
            background-color:white;
            WIDTH: 290;
    }

    .columnmiddle{
            background-color:white;
            WIDTH: 290;
            position:absolute;
            margin-left:290;
            top: 130;
            margin-top:0;
    }

    .columnright{
            background-color:white;
            WIDTH: 290;
            position:absolute;
            margin-left:580;
            margin-right:0;
            top: 130;
    }
    .footer{
            margin-left:0;
            margin-top:25;
            padding-bottom:50;
            font-size:12;
    }

    The HTML looks something like this

    Code:
    <div class="columnleft">
    LEFT CONTENT
    </div>
    <div class="columnmiddle">
      MIDDLE CONTENT
    </div>
    <div class="columnright">
      RIGHT CONTENT
    </div>
    <div class="footer">
      FOOTER CONTENT
    </div>

    Everything that is in the footer section does not display. I am not sure why.

    Thanks for the help

    Carl

    Any chance you could send us a link to the page on a live site?

    Because you haven't actually positioned your footer it will be top left, as all the others are absolutely positioned.

    Any reason for the absolute positioning?

    You can absolutely position the footer too, but then you'd have to make the three columns a fixed height otherwise you'll get issues with spilling over.

    I would be more inclined to just let them flow naturally...

    See http://www.seanmiller.net/bits/divs/ ("View Source" for code)
