    hi,
I am a web designer in intermediate level. I want to some certification in web designing. Will W3 schools(HTML Developer certificate) or CIW certifications help me? or any others which will improve my market value?

I'm inclined to say a portfolio demonstrating the skills will get you further than the piece of paper saying "Certified." I do not see a harm in getting a certification, but web design is not like medicine... you don't need a certificate to get a job.

I agree with DCScene, but if you're still looking for a certification, I'd recommend brainbech.com. Good luck to ya.
