So I'm a beginner to CSS, and I'm trying to fix my friend's website. I dug through a few books and finally came up with something pretty nice that I like a lot. However, it doesn't look right at all in Internet Explorer and I can't figure out why. The footer doesn't stay on the bottom and the scrolling of the body doesn't work. One thing I did notice is that in Mozilla the scroll bar on the right side doesn't show the bottom arrow for some reason.

    The css is at http://www.eyetoeyevideo.com/new/new.css

    Any ideas?

well - as far as the scroll bar arrow not showing up, I think it's because you have the footer z-index set to 5 and the body set to 3, and they're overlapping, hence the footer is placed over the arrow. (btw - for future reference, I wouldn't name a div #body, it gets a bit confusing - try going with #content or something instead). I'll have to look at it a bit more to try and figure out the footer thing. Just at first glance, it kinda looks like IE is not registering the height of the div, it only expands down to the text, however in IE the content extends past the footer too, so I'm not sure. Anyway - gl and I'll try and look at it a little more.

Thanks for the time. I'm way over my head with CSS apparently, but its getting a little easier day by day. I'll try and correct that arrow issue, and please let me know if you figure out the IE issues.

Arrow issue corrected. Cheers. Also renamed Body to Content on your suggestion.
