Good day to all you techies out there.
I am working on a web site project and need a tip on one simple thing...
The idea is to accumulate credible data. I've found scripting for just simple polls, but they are no better then a joke.
What I was looking for, and I'm guessing it would be a common & simple fix for anyone who knew how, would be to make a poll, with additional input sections for name, email, and comments, still with a way to quantify all the yes or no's into one figure after all i|s said and done.
To accumulate and document legitimate, useable data. What would be the best way?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I apologize if this answer is lame (Google searches) ... but the best way is
to use PHP and MySQL. I don't think anyone here has the time to write a script
for you, but PHP and MySQL is the answer to your question.

If the goal is the poll itself, use an online service:
    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...=Google+Search

If your goal is to do the PHP/MySQL scripting yourself,
take an existing script and customize it.
    http://www.hotscripts.com/PHP/Script...ing/index.html

(scroll down to the gray "free" scripts)

Find a script, install it, customize it for yourself.
Then ask questions about particular scripting problems you might have.
