    hello guys I have a problem with image hover opacity. I would like the image on mouse over would be 70% opacity. when visited it retains to 70% and if I refresh the browser all images goes back to 100% opacity... kindly check and revised this script that works in IE, firefox, and other browser. Thanks.

    btw this script is not working on IE

    a:link img{
    -moz-opacity: 1;
    -khtml-opacity: 1.0;
    opacity: 1.0;

    a:visited img,
    a:hover img,
    .opacityit img {
    filter: progid: DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Alpha(opacity=70);
    -moz-opacity: 0.5;
    -khtml-opacity: 0.5;
    opacity: 0.5;

    in the link:
    :smoker: :tired:

    This should be what you're trying to do...

    a.knockback:hover img {
    filter: alpha(opacity=50);
    moz-opacity: .50;
    opacity: .50;
    a.knockback:visited img {
    filter: alpha(opacity=50);
    moz-opacity: .50;
    opacity: .50;

    <a href="#" class="knockback"><img src="images/image.jpg" alt="" /></a>
