I have just started working w/css. Using dreamweaver. I go to CSS style , Background. I chose an horizontal image. about 700 pixels by 200. Not matter what I type, either the value or pick top/left, I only get a sliver of the image?
have some books to pick up on CSS but if any one would like to tell me what I am not doing right it would be appreciated
    Thanks

The background will begin to show when you add content to that
<div> section ... or, if you specify the width and height of the <div>

I'm guessing that section is currently "empty" (no content).
