    None.

HTML ia a <tag> based language.

If anything you will need to know about widths/height (such as an element with a width of 100 is wider than an element with a width of 50.

It's more like reading and writing recipes in another language.

If you eventually get into PHP or Javascripting, that might require
some mathematics. Are you thinking about HTML teaching for a
    certain age group?

I was always told that I would need good math's to do programming. However, I actually find this the case. All that is needed is a good level of adaptability and comprehension. Programming is very much like writing in a new language.

HTML doesn't need any maths as no calculations take place. All HTML is used for is to describe content.

I"m in school at the moment, and crap at maths (in fact i'm dropping it for the senior years) and i find html/css fine. Programming would need more maths, but not necissarily a high level at all.

So in answer to your question: no, html doesn't require high levels of maths (or even maths at all).
