    hey im having trouble with keeping a layer in place, in the style sheet it is set to position:absoule but the darn thing stil moves around when i resize my browser. If someone could take a look at the code and tell me weather I missed something it would be a great help. The layer contains two rollovers if that helps clear this up??

    Code:
    #LayerG {

        position:absolute;
        left:492px;
        top:299px;
        width:116px;
        height:70px;
        z-index:1;
    }

    <div id="LayerG"><a href="#" onmouseout="MM_swapImgRestore()" onmouseover="MM_swapImage('Image8','','images/buttons/homeOver.gif',1)"><img src="images/buttons/homeUp.gif" name="Image8" width="115" height="41" border="0" id="Image8" /></a><a href="#" onmouseout="MM_swapImgRestore()" onmouseover="MM_swapImage('Image9','','images/buttons/surroundingsOver.gif',1)"><img src="images/buttons/surroundingsUp.gif" name="Image9" width="115" height="41" border="0" id="Image9" /></a></div>

    oh sorry, sure sure it was actualy something stupid on my part. The layer wasnt placed inside a table cell and the rest of the content was so when i resized the browser window the table would move as it was set to center and the layer would stay absolute. I just inserted a nested table where i wanted the layer to be and placed it in there. so now it moves with the rest of the conent and its A ok =]
