    Hi There,

I've added a link to my website to open a letter which has been faxed and saved as a jpeg file. This is the only soft copy of the letter I have. When I click on the link the letter opens in its own webpage, however the letter is not in full size. To see the full size of the letter you need to click on button called "expand to regular size" which appears once you click on the letter. This works fine but some of the users of the website are not very computer literate and would not know what to do.

The code I've used for the link is below

    <a href="Letter.jpg" target="_blank">Click here to see Letter of Thanks</a>

Is there anything I can add here so that the letter will open in regular size (100%) once it is clicked on.

Thanking you in advance for you help

You'll have to do something like:
    Code:
    <a href="Letter.html" target="_blank">Click here to see Letter of Thanks</a>
Then in Letter.html, something like this:
    Code:
    <img src="Letter.jpg" />

I think I know what you're talking about and I think that's a function of the browser.

For FireFox, this is how to disable it:
    http://txpress.blogspot.com/2006/11/...sizing-in.html

With IE, it's the "enable automatic image resizing" option in the advanced options.

I don't think you can alter it ... but maybe with Javascripting? I can't find any.

    Thanks everyone for your Replys,
I've done this for now "enable automatic image resizing" option in the advanced options in Internet explorer and It worked.
I will look into putting it as an image on another html page for novice users who dont know how to change this in their internet options.
    Thanks again.

    This sentence I wrote:

I meant you can alter it yourself (with your browser settings), but you can't
alter it on someone else's computer via your website (Javascripting etc).

Hyperair has the correct answer, by the way.

    Have you done that yet?

Create an example page with your "image" and see what happens.
