    Hello,
    I have the table below...I want two columns and many rows...I want the right column cells to be one style and the left column cells to be another style...But the code below doesnt work for that, everything appears in the style of the first span, which is blue color...How can you make this work?

    echo "<table>".
    "<td>".
    "<span style='font-family:arial; font-size:18px; font-weight:bold; color:blue;'>".
    "<tr>"."testttttttttt1"."</tr>".
    "<tr>"."testttttttttt2"."</tr>".
    "<tr>"."testttttttttt3"."</tr>".
    "</span>"."</td>".
    "<td>".
    "<span style='font-family:arial; font-size:18px; font-weight:bold; color:red;'>".
    "<tr>"."testttttttttt1000"."</tr>".
    "<tr>"."testttttttttt2000"."</tr>".
    "<tr>"."testttttttttt3000"."</tr>".
    "</span>"."</td>".
    "</table>";

    Don't use tables? ... which is my recommendation (use CSS and floated <div>) ...

    Or use 2 tables placed within 1 table?

    <table>
    <tr>
    <td>
    <table style="stuff">
    .
    <tr><td>stuff</td></tr>
    <tr><td>stuff</td></tr>
    <tr><td>stuff</td></tr>
    .
    </table>
    </td>
    <td>
    <table style="stuff">
    .
    <tr><td>stuff</td></tr>
    <tr><td>stuff</td></tr>
    <tr><td>stuff</td></tr>
    .
    </table>
    </td>
    </tr>
    </table>

    Okay, here is some more detail: in the first column I want to display fixed information, which wont change. In the second column I want to display changing information. Such as:
    TITLE: $title
    DATE: $date
    LOCATION: $location
    and so on...I want the fixed info to be one style and the changing info tobe another style...How to do it if table is not a good solution?

    In the example you posted you had <tr>'s inside a <td> that might be something to do with it "not working".

    Show us an example web page....
    create a test page or example page that is utilizing the two columns.

    I'll tell you now that the answer will be using PHP.
    In fact, you will have a database or list of things in a files that PHP
    will grab and dynamically display the list in whatever format you want.
