    Hi all,

I have been trying to line up a button beside a asp:textbox for over a day now! I've tried floating, clearing and finally got it to work in IE7 with absolute positioning.

But I still can't get it in place in FF3. Can anyone help?

It's the Go button on the left nav @ maps.myhome.ie

This is such a simple issue but for the life of me I can't get past it.

    Thanks,
    Denis

That right there should tell you there is an error somewhere.
My guess, and I could be wrong, is you have given your buton an inline style position:absolute, but in the CSS, the class has float: right. Firefox is taking you at your word and doing both, IE is ignoring something. This is all guessing, anyone else know what's going on here?

Looks like you hit the nail on the head there! I went back and had another look and saw I should have taken out the float from earlier.

    Thanks!
