    I'm working on this Web site and this is driving me absolutely batty. There's a
    Flash file (swf) on the bottom of this page. It shows up fine
    in the local preview in Dreamweaver, and fine when I click on it in the list of uploaded files on the server. As far as I know the directory is correct, but I don't know how to be sure. Other pictures are showing up fine. I can't see it in any browser so it's not just an Explorer problem. All the files are in one folder on my hard drive and I uploaded them all to the main directory on Webs.com. The swf was done in Flash MX 2004 and put in Dreamweaver CS3. The Flash was done on a Mac and the page on Windows, if that makes any difference. Can anyone advise? Thanks zillions. Link: hereisthescreenshot.webs.com

    On the top of your HTML, you have this:

    <noscript></noscript><!-- --><script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.freewebs.com/p.js"></script><script src="Scripts/AC_RunActiveContent.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

    That means the Flash javascript portion is looking for that .js file.
    Do you have that file in a directory called "Scripts" (case-sensitive)?
    I can't seem to locate that file.

    Hi,
    I don't have a directory called Scripts. Is it something I would upload to the server? I didn't make the names of the directories on that. I don't quite understand--what should I do? Thanks!

    Basically, you're missing the Javascript files that it needs.

    I'm assuming you're using an FTP program to upload files to your website?
    If not, you can use FileZilla (it's free).

    Create a directory called "Scripts".

    Go to this website and download the zipped Javascript files (under Sample Files):
    http://www.adobe.com/devnet/activeco...devletter.html

    Unzip those and upload into the "Scripts" directory.

    After that, see what happens and report back.
