    Hi, I am currently designing a site: http://www.tyretraders.com.au/www/index.php

    I am having trouble in IE.

    I cannot get the Google search bar to stick in same spot as firefox. I am using an if IE stylesheet.

    Also, when clicking on the Nav bar navigating through the pages the page seems render or jump slightly from left to right, I cannot understand why it is doing this.

    Advice is much appreciated.

    You have some validation errors that should be addressed ...

    Here's one serious error .. two body tags?

    <body>
    <body id="bd" class="wide fs1">

    You're having some <div> width problems where stuff
    is exceeding the defined width.

    #content2 is set to 220 pixels wide.
    Then you have the "sign-up today box" inside #content2,
    and that width is 200 pixels + a padding of 10 and a margin of 15.
    That's 225 pixels.

    It's either that, or "content" + "content2" + "sidebar" is exceeding #container (950)

    Try changing #content width from 450 to 400 and see what happens.
    And/or fix the "sign-up box" widths.

    Thanks for the advice mlseim. I have corrected the issue.

    However, I am still having trouble with IE in 2 places.

    1. The Google search sometimes sticks above the news section, but most the time appears at the bottom of the page.

    2. Upon clicking to a new page or refreshing a page the site seems to jump from right to left.

    Any advice on how to rectify this is much appreciated.

    You have "Begin Sidebar" shown above the Google search,
    but yet the Google search is not part of the sidebar ... is that intentional?

    You have this:

    <!-- BEGIN: SIDEBAR -->

    <div id="search">
    <form action="http://www.google.com/cse" id="cse-search-box">
    <div>
    <input type="hidden" name="cx" value="006533780580147916099:hajeuiqqqmc" />
    <input type="hidden" name="ie" value="UTF-8" />
    <input type="text" name="q" size="19" />
    <input type="submit" name="sa" value="Search" />
    </div>
    </form>

    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.google.com/coop/cse/brand?form=cse-search-box&lang=en"></script>

    </div>

    <div id="sidebar">

    Should it be this instead?

    <!-- BEGIN: SIDEBAR -->

    <div id="sidebar">

    <div id="search">
    <form action="http://www.google.com/cse" id="cse-search-box">
    <div>
    <input type="hidden" name="cx" value="006533780580147916099:hajeuiqqqmc" />
    <input type="hidden" name="ie" value="UTF-8" />
    <input type="text" name="q" size="19" />
    <input type="submit" name="sa" value="Search" />
    </div>
    </form>

    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.google.com/coop/cse/brand?form=cse-search-box&lang=en"></script>

    </div>

    Hi, thanks for your advice again. Unfortunately this only seems to work in Firefox, however if I put the Google search box inside the div_sidebar withou the searchdiv it works better across both browsers (but doesnt look as good):

    <div id="sidebar_search">

    <!-- SEARCH FUNCTION -->

    <div id="sidebar">
    <form action="http://www.google.com/cse" id="cse-search-box">
    <div>
    <input type="hidden" name="cx" value="006533780580147916099:hajeuiqqqmc" />
    <input type="hidden" name="ie" value="UTF-8" />
    <input type="text" name="q" size="20" />
    <input type="submit" name="sa" value="Search" />
    <br />
    </div>
    </form>

    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.google.com/coop/cse/brand?form=cse-search-box&lang=en"></script>
