    Hi
How can I put Audio files on a website? What do I need to do to put the audio files on the website?
Do I need special programming, or special software? I would like to have and post something like free audio tutorials. What is the best way to do this?
Also I would like to be able to update the audio files regularly and still have an archive of the old tuts. Could someone please show me how to do it?
    Thanks

I would work with MP3 files and then use a free Flash Player to
embed them on the page and also allow people to download
    and subscribe to podcasting, etc.

Audacity is a free audio program to convert to MP3 and actually
record right on a laptop or PC. The best free software I've ever seen:
    http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Here's a free PHP script for uploading and serving MP3 files:
    http://podcastgen.sourceforge.net/

Do it all with MP3's ...
people know all about them, can use them on their MP3 players,
and they are easy to manage.

    Nairaman ...

    Try the Audacity Beta version.
I think in the newest Beta version, they have incorporated the MP3 Codec
into their program. One of the earlier versions required a separate download
    for driving MP3 files.
