I am using dreamweaver 3, whenever I put a script in the site comment lines the whole site disappears!

Can anyone tell me if they have this happen or if they know why?

As soon as I remove the comment tags, the page comes back!?

    wierd.

No, that is not it... these have all been other peoples codes and they all close out their comments.

I could post a page for you and you could try it if you like!

    Ok...I am posting it now.

www.patriotreview.com (index) page you will see is fine--NOW! If you look down at the bottom of the left side you will see the VOTE NOW link -that is where on the comments were- then go to indexgone.html ... it is the same page with the exact same code except I left the COMMENTS on that VOTE NOW link and unless you have a different experience than both my home and work computers you will see NOTHING!

The only difference is that on that VOTE NOW link/pic... I left comments in.

TRUST ME I HAVE SPENT ALOT OF TIME on this, first trying to figure out where and then why.

    I am mystified.

    thanks for looking at it!

i think your problem is that the comment is communicating with something (i don't know what) and it is not being stopped. They have a similar thing on phpbb for starting forum rows etc.
