    hi,

    i'm trying to keep my site's image header on the same line as a small video player i put on my page

    This is what it looks like now

    The code is:

    Code:
    <body>
    <div align="center">
    	<div><img src="header.jpg" border="0"><object classid='clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000' codebase='http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=8,0,0,0' width='237' height='220' id='Vplayer' align='middle'> <param name='allowScriptAccess' value='sameDomain' /> <param name='FlashVars' value='playlistURL=http://cephalo-002.mywaves.com/channels/unembed/f5cd17739d1198dde33278c143e9df12e67319a6' /><param name='movie' value='http://cephalo-002.mywaves.com/Vplayer.swf' /><param name='quality' value='high' /><param name='bgcolor' value='#ffffff' /><embed src='http://cephalo-002.mywaves.com/Vplayer.swf' quality='high' bgcolor='#ffffff' src='http://cephalo-002.mywaves.com/Vplayer.swf' FlashVars='playlistURL=http://cephalo-002.mywaves.com/channels/unembed/f5cd17739d1198dde33278c143e9df12e67319a6' width='237' height='220' name='Vplayer' align='middle' allowScriptAccess='sameDomain' type='application/x-shockwave-flash' pluginspage='http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer'></embed></object></div><br />
    I can't understand why this is doing this or how I can fix it. Does anyone know?

    Thanks...

    Try putting each one in a separate div and tweak the css for those. Since one is an image and the other is a video player, you could set a height for them too. You have them both wrapped in a div so you could match the height of that div to the two inside. However, I don't know how your video player will deal with a height, you'll have to play with it.

    actually, the problem seems to have been the object tags...i found and tried a video player with embed tags and it lines up with no problem...
