Ok either im really tired or just an idiot. I just started my own small business doing some web design and computer networking. I posted my site up to the internet and didnt realize I had a whitespace problem at the bottom until a friend told me. I use Firefox so it doesnt happen in that but in Internet Explorer you can scroll down way past my web info. Check the site out www.jl-ca.com if you can tell me how stupid I am then that would be much appreciated :-p

    wow ...

The XHTML coding is so bad, I don't think it can be fixed.

My advice is to start over without using the margin, and positioning stuff.
There is no need to define "height". The div sections should grow to
fit the text (content). The site you currently have will always have browser
compatibility issues and adding more content (text) will be a big problem.

Now, I realize you said you are "starting out" with your own small business.
You are probably very good at networking and offer terrific service to homes
and businesses. You should hire someone to do your web design, including
your own website, and stick to the things you know best. I'm not sure if you
did the coding for your website, but don't offer any web design with that example.
I'm not trying to be rude ... I'm offering helpful advice.

I'm guessing none of us (speaking for myself) will be able to solve your problem
without a complete re-write of your XHTML and CSS.

Actually its not as bad as you made it out to be. Im using expression web 2 and it was doing something funky. So I made the main pic a container and threw all the other elements into it. After I did that it got rid of all my problems. I just have the finish editing then upload the new site.

Thanks for trying to help :P
