    I really don't know javascript that well other than calling date variables and printing stuff but other than that I'm a noob.

    What I"m trying to do is make a div i've setup use the onMouseOver to display the div when a user puts their mouse over a link or selected item but I don't know enough about jscript to do it =/

    The usual way to make a div hidden is to set the display style attribute to none:

    <div id="hiddenDiv" style="display: none">This is my content</div>

    Then to show or hide it, you would put JavaScript in the other element's event handlers to change this element's display style:

    <img src="image.gif onmouseover="document.getElementById('hiddenDiv'). style.display = 'block'" onmouseout="document.getElementById('hiddenDiv').s tyle.display = 'none'" />
