    Greetings!
    At:
www.restaurantrange.com/, and it's subpages, can someone tell me why the message is not scrolling at the bottom bar as at: www.restaurantequipment1.com/.
Also, on one of my computers, it's not scrolling on any of the pages.
    Many Thanks in advance!!!

I believe it was sucked into the vortex created by the motion of the several hundred other animated .gifs.

Sorry to make fun. That website is awesome (in a break every possible rule of web design sort of way). But I enjoyed it very much and thank you for the URL. The floating Bush and Osama Bin Laden images really make it.

Anyway, to answer your question, the <marquee> tag is not a W3C supported html tag and so it will only have limited browser support (mostly older IE browsers).

The best way to create scrolling text (if there is such a thing) is through the use of javascript.

    Thanks Jeff,
Glad You enjoyed the site, and it's been a winner for me (
    except with Democrats)
I was able to fix the initial problem and now the scrolling shows!
But I am still not seeing it on my main computer (I use three in front of me).

Could it have something to do with the security settings?

did you try a javascript method? that's probably best. Or you could use flash, and imo that's better.
