    Hi,

    I've just edited a css file in an editor within one of my FTP progs and its done something a little bit mad. Its basically added in a few thousand blank lines between each line of code in the file and my css file is now over 600,000 lines long.

    This has now made the file over 1.5MB instead of around 100k as it was beforwe.

    Is there a simple way to remove all these blank lines? Somekind of find and replace function?

    Thanks

    Here's what you should do ...

    Download Notepad++
    http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/site.htm

    It's free and it's a great editor.
    I use it for all of my coding by hand.

    See this mini-demo on removing blank lines using the TextFX function.
