    Hi folks
I am a new teach-myself student of web design, html and css. Please could anyone tell me how they get the pictures to change on a website? The website with the changing images is at http://www.femnat.com/.
There is another website with circular images that also change. That one is at http://www.erojim.com/home.htm:ichatsat:

You can also accomplish this with Javascript, using a slideshow script, like "fadeshow" (one I use a lot).

Thanks very much to both of you( Mlseim and Smoseley).I think websites with moving pictures like that are very appealing. @Smoseley
Where could I get either the code or a tutorial on the "fadeshow" script you mentioned.Maybe you could help me to put it on my website.Or give me a demo /live site that I could see.

Not to be a wise-guy, but this is usually a good place to start looking:

Thanks. I was being lazy.Looking for a shortcut. I think I should learn to be patient.I appreciate. Actually I have a slide fadeshow up but I cant seem to get the captions right. Could you please help me look at the code? I have a few pictures up. How can I get you to access them so that you help me to check what is wrong. Maybe I should upload everything to a website? What do you suggest?

    Hi mlseim
I have just copied the code I got from the Dynamic Drive website and have now put the Fadeshow up on my website. You can see it at http://www.zackamata.com. I would like to have captions under each photo. I tried writing it together with the image array tag. But its not showing. What can I do?

You have description reveal set to "ondemand":
    descreveal: "ondemand",

That means the captions show up only when you mouse-over the photo.

    Change it to:
    descreveal: "always",
