so I've been working on this website for a while now, and I feel like I've been stumbling over stupid issues recently .

I'm trying to find a simple way to display a lot of information while keeping it look neat, and not increase loadtimes by too much. (as it is I feel the loading is a bit slow since I'm pulling 2 css files, a js file, contacting mysql db, etc.)

to make it easier to explain I've attached a picture to show where I want the data. I figured it would be easier to just use the background as a guide on where to store data.

in the boxes I want to put the following info in this particular manner
Code:
-----------------------
name
address hours
address2 hours
info 1 info2 info 3
info4 info 5 info6
-----------------------
and of course have it side by side. now the info would all be links, the name itself is also going to be a link. so whats your opinion on best way to do this and make it nice and presentable ?

so should I just use a table and call it good ? or is there a better way ?

I would actually use a <table>.

You have tabular data taken from a database.
That's exactly what <table>s are designed for.

Use CSS to style the table, tr's, and td's

will do. right now it's a skeleton and I'm having someone else do all the data entry stuff for it, while I'm working offline to fix problems, expand, etc.

I get to have fun and add a forum, than tying the user name from the forum with the rest of the site, getting rid of wordpress, etc

Whatever forum you're adding, remember that you can use the same forum login
for other pages on your site (not connected with the forum). This is commonly used
with phpBB forum. Once a person logs into phpBB, that login carries through to the
rest of the website and "members" pages.

I will probably be bugging you about that later haha. I've been looking into the idea, and also found out you can tie sites in with facebook, myspace, and others. I think thats a neat idea especially now a days when people are tired of having to log in all over the place. logging in to one place and being logged into all other sites.. what could be better
