    Hey everyone,

I have been a lurker for a while now and I have to say this is a great website for beginners like myself, so thanks a lot.

This is my second website that I am working on and I think I have gotten ahead of myself. When I view it in safari it looks perfectly fine, but when I open it up with firefox everything is misaligned and out of place.

    Please help.

    Here is the website skrappad.com

It's sort of a problem to use <table>'s for positioning,
and your text is all graphic images.

This tag is still available, but has some limitations:

I don't have Safari, so I can't attest to that browser.
It looks the same in FF as IE ... except IE6 won't render your PNG transparencies.

I just think you should stay away from <table> and make the
HTML and CSS as simple and common as possible ... and use
real text, even if it means using a basic font.

I also just read this ... specific pixel dimensions and the screen switches
automatically when you view landscape VS portrait:

Thank you for the quick reply.

So I have decided to get rid of tables and the image text.

I will post an update when I am done.

    thanks again

Hey I'm back and I took your advice mlseim.

I made my website using divs and ditched tables. It looks great with all browsers now.

Now I have a new problem. I am trying to make the footer stick to the bottom of the page. Can you help me out?
