    Hi
I have problems uploading my index.html page. When I view the page in Dreamweaver it is okay. When I look at it in Filezilla it says the file size is 21,939 bytes. When I upload the file to my remote site the file size shrinks to 4,096 bytes. What can I do? The shrunken page(4,096 bytes) can be seen at www.senatorgracefolashadebent.com. The correct pages can be seen at www.senatorgracefolashadebent.com./projects.html and www.senatorgracefolashadebent.com./Media-Media.html. I tried to save both these pages SAVE AS index.html. When I then tried to send them up thru FileZilla (as index.html) they still did not show the full page and to my greatest consternation the file size was 4,096. What can I do? If I did not know better I would say some alien is working some subliminal voodoo on me....... Well how can I explain what happens when I copy a page as 21,939 bytes and when I upload it KAZOOMBA!!! it changes to 4,096 bytes.

There must be something not set right with FileZilla.
Just to make sure, if you want, PM (private message) me
with the FTP login and I'll check it.

If you know anything about .htaccess, make sure there is
nothing in that file which might be controlling the filesize.

    Nairaman ...

    I checked your website files.
You have exceeded your maximum disk storage.

Look at your directory called "Photos" and you'll see that
you uploaded all BMP (.bmp) type images and filled-up your
space. Most of them did not load (filesize = 0).

Delete all of them, convert to JPEG using your PC and upload
them all in much smaller filesizes. Like 100KB, not 1.5MB .

Once you remove them, you'll be able to upload your proper "index.html" file.

    Hi mlseim
I really would like to thank you for the solution to my index page. I should have replied earlier forgive me. I am preparing to shoot a film and there is a lot of planning and meetings. Once again thank you. I deleted the photos directory and everything came back to normal. I wish the world were run like your forum here. There wouldnt be so much fear, greed and hate.
Anyway what I want to learn now is how to use sprys. You know collapsible sprys, accordion sprys etc. Where could I get some simple tutorials to walk me through. I hope you dont mind but I am going to post this question to see if there are some newbies like me who have very simple tuts for learning all about sprys

I guess I don't know what "sprys" are, but I think you mean some sort of menu
thing? The accordion thing tends to make me think about menus.

    Here's using JQuery:

There are also some CSS methods:

JQuery is good for a lot of various menu options.

Sprys come from Adobe Dreamweaver. Spry menus, accordions, callapsible panels, and Tabbed panels. Also referred to as Spry Widgets. Their own versions built on JS and CSS with bare bones markup.
