    Hello,

    I am trying to have:
    div container
    div content
    div left
    div entry
    div right
    div footer

    but if the left div has less text than the right div then the alignment is incorrect for the right div.

    Many thanks

    :-)

    Margaret

    I have changed the left div back to
    #left {width:68%; float:left; line-height:1.4em;}

    I wanted to make the left div wider so I thought I could simply change it to
    #left {width:75%; float:left; line-height:1.4em;}

    How can I make it wider and still have the left and right divs line up?

    Many thanks ofr this forums, I have enjoyed reading the posts.

    :-)

    Can you give a link? Most people don't want to load up everything in their editor just to troubleshoot, it's easier for us to mess with Firebug. Plus, we don't have your images.

    Thank you Steve. I thought attachments was the preferred method of posting.

    I have put the images and code here:
    http://www.groganmob.com/documents/w...abstractx.html

    As you can see I have a problem the with h1 and h2 in the sitetitle as it should read:
    iForest
    Isolation Forest.

    Thanks for the help

    :-)

    Well, a quick check as I don't have any time tonight, sorry.

    I did however remove the float from the h1 tag, and remove the text align right from h1 and h2. That's if you want it on the left.

    If you want them on the right, then just remove the float left from the h1 and add a width to the h1 and h2 of 285px. Also set the width to the site title to 300px. It seemed to work better than percentages and does not affect the fluidity of the site.

    I'm not sure exactly where you want that to sit.

    I hope the heck that was your question!

    Thank you for taking the time to look at the web page.

    I wanted the wording of the sitetittle of "iForest Isolation Forest" to be right of banner image.

    Thanks so much

    430px on the h1, 425px on the h2 seems to line them up. How does this look in IE? There would have been an easier way to do your header, but if it works, then I guess don't mess with it.
