    I can't see anything wrong with the code. It's gotta be a path issue or a typo. It's not complicated enough to be anything else.

    Oh crap, your missing the single quotes.

    Code:
    background-image:url('Images/ContentBG.jpg');

    Just gave it a go dude still a no go even wtih the commas i just dont get it using the same piece of code the only place it will actually work is when its placed in the css div tag thats connected to the body tag not in the background of the lists where i need it to be

    Can you upload this somewhere? Or even zip the site so I can load everything with the images? This is hard to troubleshoot without a link or the images. The only thing I can think of, besides the path being wrong, is maybe try a clear div underneath the ul tag.

    Hey, someone erased my solution!!

    Interlaced, two options for you:

    1) Put a clear div just after the ul closing tag.

    2) Put an overflow property for the content div and set it to hidden or auto. I can't remember which one is recommended.

    I usually have a footer to clear everything but this should work for you.

    Code:
    <div style="clear:both"></div>
    That's inline but you can give it an id and put it in the stylesheet too.

    Alright i was just messing around with it last night and all of a sudden it just started working im not to sure what i did but i have a feeling it was the case sensitive referencing to the div sigh but thanks heaps for your help aeroweb i will definately take your solution onboard for next time something similar happens.

    So did you rename the id's? That should not have mattered. Your floated li's needed to be cleared is what I figured out. What exactly did you do? Don't leave me hangin' I spent a bit of time on this problem!
