I am trying to place multiple Ap divs with content on my website (not already uploaded onto the internet) in different places and they work fine when i preview them in a browser that has the window being fully maximized. When I restore (change the size of the window of the browser), the content in the Ap divs move all over the screen which makes the website look horrible.

That's because they are absolute positioned. They will move according to the window size. You need to research positioning before you get too far learning the wrong way. Do not rely on the design view of Dreamweaver either.

To temporarily fix your problem now, wrap all your AP divs with one big div, give it a width and use position relative for that wrapping div.

    Try this for starters...

You should avoid using positioning to 'nail' everything into a specific place. You will have better results if you learn to use the normal document flow and floats for your layouts.
