    I'm pretty sure this is a css issue, but my problem is that the lightbox border is ending up underneath my main video so I can't close it....

    Can someone let me know what code needs to be changed to get it to work properly?

    My page in question is here: Videos

    To duplicate the issue I'm having, scroll down to where you can just see the lower video thumbnails (so that the large youtube video is still visible) and click one of the videos... The video will play, but the 'close' button is underneath the upper, large video.

    Thanks for any help I can get!
    Aza

    I think it's your divs

    Hi I think it's your divs,

    try this ( the red tags are my additions)
    Code:
    <div id="mainContent">
      <a name="top" id="top"></a>
      <h1>RuesterProd Videos</h1>

      <h2>Latest Video - <span style="font-size:16px">  Romi Cortier Design: Mackintosh Inspired Wall Mural</span></h2>
    <div id="latestVideo">
      <object width="660" height="405"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/JB9ZRyLb7jA?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US&amp;color1=0x3a3a3a&amp;color2=0x999999&amp;border=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/JB9ZRyLb7jA?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US&amp;color1=0x3a3a3a&amp;color2=0x999999&amp;border=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="660" height="405"></embed></object>
      </div>
      <!-- END latestVideo -->
      <h2><span style="text-align:center">Featured Videos</span></h2>
       <!-- Start VideoLightBox.com BODY section -->
        <div id="videogallery">

        </div>
        <!-- End VideoLightBox.com BODY section -->
    and of course then the CSS can be used to place the two divs where you want them, so the lower div (the gallery) is below the "latest Video" div.

    I am not 100% sure this will work, as I haven't tried it live, but it seems to work in WAMP on my machine.

    If it's not that , then

    I think it must be in your javascript somewhere - I am not very good at javascript yet, maybe post over in the Javascript forum as well?

    Good luck - i will follow this thread so if you get an answer I'd like to know it - it could be helpful to me down the road...

    Or you could try

    giving the video gallery a higher z-index in your CSS? That should (in theory) make it "higher" away from the surface of the page...

    this reminds me of a favourite quote: "I don't have a solution, but I admire the problem." I wish I knew who said that...

    Video Lightbox problem...

    P.S. I've tried raising the z-index of various elements, but that didn't seem to work...
