    Hi Guys,

    Found this forum when i was looking for a solution to a rather annoying problem that has me stumped.

    I will send some beer money to someone that can help with this one.

    Basically my site here:

    FFXIV Leveling Guide _ Final Fantasy 14 Leveling Guide

    If you load it up in Firefox it will work fine - however load it up in IE8 and it also works fine until you exit the site.

    It has some Exit Splash software on it which works fine in Firefox but when you exit the site in IE8 it alligns to the right!

    I have checked with the developer of the software and he claims it is not a problem with the software but my css file.

    I have even tried taking the text-align:center; out of the {body on the css and that just shifts EVERYTHING over to the left and then the homepage does not work correctly.

    Anyone would love someone to have a look through and i am serious if you fix it i will send you some money for beer (of if you don't drink you can get coke)

    Let me know what you think?

    Cheers guys,

    Chris

    Hi,

    Thanks for your help - I just tried that at least i think i did it right.

    I added it to the main body code of the .css file.

    There was no #ExitSplashDiv part or am i missing something?

    Probably something i am missing and sorry to be a pain but can you let me know exactly where i need to add the code?

    Chris

    What he means is there is an element with the ID tagged #ExitSplashDiv, for instance:

    HTML Code:
    <div id="ExitSplashDiv">...</div>
    Just at the end of your CSS file simply add the following as EvilivE said, but I'll write the code for you:

    HTML Code:
    #ExitSplashDiv{
         top: 0;
         left: 0;
    }
    Granted I haven't seen the site, I'm just explaining what Evil said.

    Just as JayWood stated should work.

    The problem is with IE calculating the offset. This has been in IE for years now (5+). You can see this by either using Firebug for FF, or for IE use Developer Tools (press F12).
