    Hey Guys! I'm pretty much a complete newbie but anyway I was curious as to how to display content once a certain element is hovered over, similar to Facebook. For those of you who are not familiar with what I am talking about, I have attached a screenshot (but had to blur out some names of course). What I am referring to is the black container displaying the content. This feature could be utilized to save space, for a more clean cut and consistent GUI.

    Ps. I'm unsure which programming this is done in but I was leaning more towards CSS. Sorry if I'm wrong; someone tell me which language this could be done in?

    Thanks in advance

    while($get_it !== true){ continue; }
