    Hi,
I want to know if its possible to add a link within a link, such as here:

    <a href="http://twitter.com/home?status=Check out <a href="http://futurepocket.com">Future Pocket</a>" target="_blank"><img src="http://futurepocket.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/twitter.png" alt="Twitter" border="0"></img></a>

Now, I know twitter doesn't accept HTML status updates, but just in any case, how would I add a link within a link. Every time I try, it gives me an error on the website.

It's not. Otherwise, the browser would have no idea what to link to.

You could do something like this.
    Code:
<a href="link-1.html">You could go to link 1 </a> <a href="link-2.html">Or Link 2</a><a href="link-1.html"> or just say to heck with it, go to link 1.</a>

    Sorry if I wasn't clear.

Take this for example, if we use the name attribute:

    <a name="test">test</a>

Now if I link it to say something down the page:

    <a href="#test">test</a>

I want to know if I can also link the text "test" that's in the link, as such:

    <a href="#test"><a href="http://test.com">test</a></a>

I hope that's more clear and you guys have an answer for me

That you can't do. Not exactly sure why you would, either.

It's attempting to embed a live link within a twitter auto-post link.

Assuming you're logged in to twitter in your browser, the twitter auto-post link will auto-tweet text within the link. He wants the text within the link to have an HTML link embedded within it.
