    please help me I've tried everything for some reason this table is centered in firefox but not in IE can someone please help me with a quick fix?

    Here is some of the code from the page but it wont all fit so please view page source I have a feeling something form the top of the page is conflicting with it but i cant figure it out

    That will do the trick, yes, as long as you use a defined width for the table.

    Just as a quick tip, you can combine those two margins into one like this:

    Code:
    table
    {
    margin: 0 auto;
    }
    The 0 in the table css is the margin-top and margin-bottom. If you wish to declare different values for the up and down it would look like this:

    margin: 6px auto 0px auto;
    }
    The 6px is for margin-top and the 0px is for margin-bottom.
