    Hi There,

    I am rebuilding a drop down nav menu (current one was built my another designer and is a .js nightmare) with the Spry functions in DW and the drop down menus are shoved over to the left in IE. Can anyone help on this one? I've tried everything and I can't figure out the fix for this one.

    The test page I am building the nav on for this site is at www.fallick.com/test/test.html

    Any advice would be much appreciated!

    Thanks...

    In your file SpryAssets/SpryMenuBarHorizontal.css, at about line 60, you have this:

    /* Submenu that is showing with class designation MenuBarSubmenuVisible, we set left to auto so it comes onto the screen below its parent menu item */

    ul.MenuBarHorizontal ul.MenuBarSubmenuVisible { left: 25px; }

    The bolding is mine - to point out where I think your problem lies. I think someone wanted to nudge the submenus a bit, and changed the auto to 25px, not realizing that auto is what keeps the sub menu below its parent. Try setting this back to auto and see if that fixes things.

    Thanks!! I've stared at this file so long I couldn't get it. They are now positioned under each parent item, but they are shoved over to the left side under each - shouldn't the auto function center align it?

    Glad to hear it worked, if only partially - that means we're on the right track.

    Auto is to make it appear under the parent item - I'm guessing here but I think padding would position it - if you mess with the margins it will override the auto...

    I'm dead tired right now but I'll mess around with it (later) in the morning and post back with (hopefully) more concrete suggestions.

    Cheers,
