About LinkBacksI Have been staring at the computer so long today I can't for the life of me figure out the most BASIC problem.
What CSS is driving the text in the "maincontentindex" div on this page to the left, even if I specify padding of 25px in it?!?

The problem is that the containing box for maincontentindex starts at the same place as the navigation. The only reason why there is no text on top of the navigation is because the navigation is float: left, so the text would wrap around it.
Now the solution, which is quite easy. You just to add a margin the the left of maincontentindex, with the same amount of pixels as the navigation. In this case, is 230px. Just add "margin-left: 230px;" to maincontentindex, then your done.

it can be solved with "margin-left" just try.
