    Hey guys, I'm working on some site and I my client wanted me to create tabs menu in the next way.

    <td><img src=tabLeftImg></td>
    <td background="TabMiddleImg"><a href="Somelink.aspx">Main Page</a></td>
    <td><img src=tabRightImg></td>

    Well that's the abstract way to show it.
    What I did is like this:
    HTML Code:
    <table width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" align="right" border="
    <tr style="float: right" width="100%">
    <td id="RegisterRightPart" runat="server" align="right">
    <img src="../Images/Try/tabs-u-r.gif" />
    </td>
    <td background="../Images/Try/tabs-u-m.gif" id="RegisterMiddle" runat="server" align="right">
    <a href="../Pages/Main.aspx" class="TabsTitle">Main</a>
    </td>
    <td id="RegisterLeftPart" runat="server" align="right">
    <img src="../Images/Try/tabs-u-l.gif" />
    </td>
    <td id="MainPageRight" runat="server">
    <img src="../Images/Try/tabs-p-r.gif" />
    </td>

    </tr>
    </table>
    Well that code works well in the FireFox browser and my TabMenu looks great but in the internet explorer I have like empty spaces between the different parts of the tabs.
    any suggestions?

    Back in the past I did something like that but in IE6 and it worked(2 years ago :P ) and I can't understand now what is wrong.

    Thanks for your help guys.

    You're using tables for something you don't need to use tables for. See if that gets you the effect you want. You'll have to play with the tutorial, but the idea's there.

    It should have. Try coding the menu by itself on its own page and see if that works. If it does, it means it's something else on your page that's interfering.

    It Does work on it's own, the problem is that the project is to massed up at the point that I joined it and the dead line is too close, the thing is that we don't have enough time to look where is it being broken(probably on the master page :P ) but if we will see that we have no other choice we will do it, meanwhile we work on some other stuff...

    thank you a lot for your help!

    Ahhhh. No problem. I can understand the idea of a tight deadline.
