    Hallo,

    I am currently creating a Webpage for eBay, but habe a Problem displaying onmouseover correctly in IE.

    There is a big picture (name: Bild0)
    below some small pictures (Bild1, Bild2, usw.) which should be displayed in the big size when mouseover.

    The mouseovered picture should not be hidden (there is no mouseout) until another small picture will be mouseovered.

    So far this will work on any web-browser, but not in IE (I use the IE9). How can I fix it?

    Thanks for helping in advance.

    HTML:
    <IMG name=moni src=".../Bild0.jpg" height=270>

    <IMG onMouseOver="moni.src='.../Bild1.jpg';"src=".../Bild1.jpg" width=60 height=45>
    <IMG onMouseOver="moni.src='.../Bild2.jpg';"src=".../Bild2.jpg" width=60 height=45>
    <IMG onMouseOver="moni.src='.../Bild3.jpg';"src=".../Bild3.jpg" width=60 height=45>
    <IMG onMouseOver="moni.src='.../Bild4.jpg';"src=".../Bild4.jpg" width=60 height=45>

    P.S. I named the picture "moni" this allows to exchange the main picture Bild0

    Use the onmouseover attribute on a link instead. It's usually more stable. Like this:
    Code:
    <a href="#" onmouseover="your mouseover code"><img src="your image" /></a>

    hello TheGAME1264,

    thanks for helping, I just tried your advice, but it definately does not work in IE:

    Something is wrong, maybe the IE does only recognize this onmouseover by div layers or sth else:

    old version (not working in IE):
    <IMG name=moni src=".../Bild0.jpg" height=270>
    <IMG onMouseOver="moni.src='.../Bild1.jpg';"src=".../Bild1.jpg" width=60 height=45>
    <IMG onMouseOver="moni.src='.../Bild2.jpg';"src=".../Bild2.jpg" width=60 height=45>
    <IMG onMouseOver="moni.src='.../Bild3.jpg';"src=".../Bild3.jpg" width=60 height=45>
    <IMG onMouseOver="moni.src='.../Bild4.jpg';"src=".../Bild4.jpg" width=60 height=45>

    first new version (not working in IE):
    <IMG name=moni src=".../Bild0.jpg" height=270>
    <a href="#" onMouseOver="moni.src='.../Bild1.jpg';"><img src=".../Bild1.jpg" width=60 height=45></a>
    <a href="#" onMouseOver="moni.src='.../Bild2.jpg';"><img src=".../Bild2.jpg" width=60 height=45></a>
    <a href="#" onMouseOver="moni.src='.../Bild3.jpg';"><img src=".../Bild3.jpg" width=60 height=45></a>
    <a href="#" onMouseOver="moni.src='.../Bild4.jpg';"><img src=".../Bild4.jpg" width=60 height=45></a>

    second new version (not working in IE):
    <a href="#"><IMG name=moni src=".../Bild0.jpg" height=270></a>
    <a href="#" onMouseOver="moni.src='.../Bild1.jpg';"><img src=".../Bild1.jpg" width=60 height=45></a>
    <a href="#" onMouseOver="moni.src='.../Bild2.jpg';"><img src=".../Bild2.jpg" width=60 height=45></a>
    <a href="#" onMouseOver="moni.src='.../Bild3.jpg';"><img src=".../Bild3.jpg" width=60 height=45></a>
    <a href="#" onMouseOver="moni.src='.../Bild4.jpg';"><img src=".../Bild4.jpg" width=60 height=45></a>

    Hello and sorry!

    I just uploaded the file and used my second Computer.
    I forgot to declare the DOCTYPE properly!
    All the work just works, unfortunately the browser switches to the top of the site when clicking on a picture, but the onmouseover works.

    Thank you!

    No problem. Glad you got it, dude.

    I even dug your diagram. Nice Photoshop pencil action.
