    Sorry if my title isn't very clear. But I can show you what my problem is on my site.

    At http://www.blakemcgillis.com, when you hover over the top menu items while using Opera, the borders (which should appear on the top and bottom of the text you're hovering over) don't function as they should.

    Sometimes the borders are only visible above the item you're hovering. And sometimes when you're on a page, the bottom border for that page's text in the top menu is active.

    I don't think it's anything that is going to be incredibly noticeable to opera users who visit my site, but I'd just like to know if Opera has a different coding requirement for border-bottom and border-top than IE, FF, and Chrome do.

    Remember that border adds to the size of the element. If there isn't enough breathing room, it may not show, or it may push other elements around. Try using outline instead; it doesn't affect the size of the element, so it may work better.
