    I'm still learning CSS and I have one quick question. Is it possible to set linking attributes mutiple times? I'm working on a webpage that has a scrolling box that uses CSS to style it's links, but I want other links on the page to look slightly different.

    Is it possible to do this?

    Here is the page and the CSS:

    Page: (http://www.my-testing-area.netne.net/TSA_Index.html)
    CSS: ([COLOR=rgb(136, 18, 128)]http://www.my-testing-area.netne.net...ndex_Style.css[/COLOR])

    I'm also trying to make the text that says "NEWS" above the scroll box to be #666 and then turn to #999 on mouseOver, without it interfering the scroll box's or the main page's CSS.

    You can either use classes or IDs for this, depending on whether you want to use link styles several times (classes) or once (IDs).

    Let's take your news link for example:
    Code:
     <div id="head_text"><a href="#">News</a></div>
    We can use the ID #head_text to define a link class:
    Code:
    div#head_text a {color:  #666666;  background-color: inherit;}
    div#head_text a:hover {color:  #999999;  background-color:  inherit;}

    The CSS you gave me worked, but it is somehow effecting the scrolling box. When I apply it, the background-color and border disappears.

    I fixed the scroll box. I don't know how, but I did.

    That happens, dude. You'll do something so stupid that shouldn't work, then you'll change a few other unrelated things, then suddenly it "works".

    Congratulations. You are now a CSS coder.
